USA:n lentokoulut ovat huolissaan uusista EASA-vaatimuksista
Euro American School of Aviation based at the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport in Florida was recently forced to close after the European Aviation Safety Agency revoked its license, which reportedly stemmed from the school’s inability to conform to new safety standards.

Ilmailun säätiedot uudesta verkkopalvelusta
Finnish Meteorological Institute has developed their own web service for pilots and persons in the aviation world. The new service has been launched on 18.6.2013. MET service is available in the address www.ilmailusaa.fi and it is public without registration. At www.lentosaa.fi you have access to MET information such as METAR, TAF, upperwinds as well as satellite and radar pictures. There are also forecasts for total cloudiness and rains for the five following days. As a new feature there is possibility to draw your flight path on the map and list the MET information and forecasts for it. This service is compatible for the most common web browsers as well as smart phones and tablets.
